How To Sew A Toy Banana

Our Banana PDF Sewing Pattern tends to be a favourite for many, with its elegant lines, subtle details, and playful nature.

This detailed tutorial outlines what you will need to sew your toy Banana, how to prepare your fabric and pattern before sewing, and all of the steps required to make this beautiful and fun fruit.

What You'll Need

SUGGESTED FABRICS + MATERIALS

This pattern is designed for woven fabrics.  We recommend using a light to medium weight [4oz to 7oz] cotton, linen or natural blended fabric.  If using a light weight fabric, we suggest a soft light weight interfacing for the banana only [not the peel].

For stuffing toys, we find an organic cotton or wool stuffing to work best.  It packs nicely creating a firm toy and, not to mention, is much easier for our children and our planet.
